Cookie Policy

What cookies are and how we use them on this website.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which types we use on the Flipkick website and how you can manage your preferences. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website work correctly, remember preferences and collect statistical information about usage. There are session cookies (deleted when you close the browser) and persistent cookies (which remain for a defined period).

Types and purposes

  • Strictly necessary - essential to the operation and security of the website. They do not require consent.
  • Preferences - remember choices such as the selected language.
  • Statistics / performance - help us understand how the website is used (for example, through Google Analytics 4). They are only activated after consent.
  • Marketing - used to measure and contextualize communications. They are only activated after consent.

Consent (Consent Mode v2)

On your first visit, a consent banner is shown. Measurement and marketing tags (managed via Google Tag Manager) only fire after your consent, in compliance with Google Consent Mode v2, the GDPR and the PDPL. Strictly necessary cookies are always applied.

Managing preferences

You can review or withdraw your consent at any time, through the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer, which reopens the consent banner. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies - note that disabling certain cookies may affect your browsing experience.

Cookie list

List of cookies and equivalent technologies used on this website, with name, provider, purpose and duration:

Strictly necessary

  • fk_consent (Flipkick) - records your cookie consent preference. Technically it is an entry in localStorage, treated as a cookie by law. Duration: until removed by the user.

Statistics / performance (only after consent)

  • _ga (Google Analytics 4) - distinguishes visitors in a pseudonymized way, for audience measurement. Duration: 24 months.
  • _ga_* (Google Analytics 4) - maintains the measurement session state. Duration: 24 months.

Marketing (only after consent)

  • hubspotutk (HubSpot) - identifies the visitor to attribute the source of contacts submitted through forms. Duration: 6 months.
  • __hstc (HubSpot) - records visit history (first visit, previous visit, number of visits). Duration: 6 months.
  • __hssc (HubSpot) - records the current browsing session. Duration: 30 minutes.
  • __hssrc (HubSpot) - indicates whether the visitor restarted the browser. Duration: session (deleted when the browser is closed).

This list reflects the current configuration of the website and is reviewed whenever measurement or marketing technologies are added or removed.
